SIGNING TISC MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

MyIPO and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) have renewed the TISC Memorandum of Understanding signed on 21 March 2016 in an effort to support the development and growth of the intellectual property ecosystem in Malaysia, especially in Sabah. MyIPO is confident that this partnership will continue to thrive in developing and creating highly skilled IP experts in higher institutions.

UMS was represented by Vice Chancellor Prof. Datuk Dr. Kasim Mansur, while MyIPO was represented by the Deputy Director General (Strategic and Technical), Mr. Kamal Kormin. Also present WIPO’s Senior Program Officer for Asia and the Pacific, Mr. Ye Min Than and Head of the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office (AIPO), Philippines, Mr. Steve Chavez.
